The photos I have uploaded were scanned from 3x5 black and white negatives. They were taken by my grandfather Louis Everett Ergmann who worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a blue printer and photostat operator in Los Angeles California during the late 1930s through the late 1940s. Many are labeled but an equal amount are unlabeled. I plan to scan the negatives and post here for others to see. I will do my best to get the best quality scan that shows the most detail of the trains and stations and as accurate a location and time as I can. I welcome any comments, suggestions, or questions.
